Im Psychologischen Forschungskolloquium werden laufende Forschungsarbeiten vorgestellt und diskutiert. Zusätzlich zu Wissenschaftler*innen der Universität Augsburg berichten auch Forscher*innen aus anderen Forschungseinrichtungen über ihre Arbeit. Herzlich eingeladen sind alle interessierten Studierenden, Promovend*innen und Kolleg*innen.

Dr. Robert Stupnisky is a professor of Educational Research and Psychology at the University of North Dakota, USA. Since arriving in 2010, he has developed a program of research aimed at understanding what makes university faculty successful in their teaching and research. During the presentation, Dr. Stupnisky will describe a series of studies that focused on the role of motivation and emotions in faculty success, which started as a series of focus groups and has expanded to national surveys and bibliometric analyses funded by NSF. The talk will conclude with practical implications and future directions of this work.
