Volker Eulenburg is professor for translational anaesthesiology and intensive care at the University of Augsburg. His research focuses on questions how neurotransmitter transporters contribute to the shaping of neurotransmission and how these transporters can be used as pharmacological targets to influence glycine dependent neurotransmission in-vivo.
