Digital Media Track

The Chair of Information Systems and Management (Prof. Veit) and the Chair for Value Based Marketing (Prof. Paul) focus on digital media in research and teaching. Skills in these areas are of high relevance in today’s business environment and are considered a valuable qualification by employers. The participation in different courses of the chairs enables bachelor and master students (e.g., BWL, GBM, ReWi) to gain competences in the area of digital media and to receive a certificate confirming these competences.

For bachelor students, the Digital Media Track encompasses three lectures and four seminars from which students can choose. Students who successfully complete three lectures and one out of the four seminars will receive a certificate certifying their focus on digital media. One of the lectures may be substituted by a final thesis at one of the chairs in the area of digital media. For master students, three lectures and three seminars are offered. Students who successfully complete three courses, including one seminar, will receive the certificate. Please note that both bachelor and master students need to complete at least one course per chair in order to receive the certificate.

To receive the certificate, interested students are asked to send an email to Katharina Saborowski or Moritz Bruckner with the following information: name, date of birth, matriculation number, studies, a list of courses from the Digital Media Track (including grade), and a confirmation from STUDIS showing their successful participation in the required courses.
