Career & Care - Lecture and panel discussion on April 28, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Academic career & care responsibilities – is it possible to combine them? This event explores new perspectives on work-life balance in academia. The keynote address by Prof. Dr. Christine Bratu and the subsequent panel discussion will address challenges, opportunities, and concrete strategies for achieving a better balance between family and career. The presentation will be held in German.

Focus on Third-Party Funding Applications: Networking Event for First-Time Applicants on 8 July 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Are you planning your first research grant proposal? This presents unique challenges, such as project organization and communicating your ideas to reviewers from other scientific disciplines. Exchanging ideas and reflecting together with other first-time applicants in the area can help you further develop your project and communicate your ideas more effectively. This meeting offers an opportunity to get to know each other, discuss strategic and structural aspects of the proposal process, and establish contacts with thematically related grant proposals and research projects. The presentation will be held in German.
