The study management is responsible for questions of administration, organisation and coordination of the model medical programme.

The study programme development department works on the integration and competence orientation of the model medical programme and supports the module development.

In addition to the human medicine degree course, the Faculty of Medicine is also responsible for the medical part of the Bachelor's and Master's degree courses in Medical Informatics.

The medical didactics team supports and encourages teachers in the conception, design and implementation of their own teaching - whether online (e.g. Moodle) or in person.

The Faculty of Medicine organizes centrally coordinated procedures for evaluation and quality development. The process and structural quality of the Augsburg model medical programme are the main focus of attention.

The team at the Chair of Medical Didactics and Education Research focuses its research on the skills development of medical students, the development of preventive measures for their health and the qualification processes of teachers.

The Examinations team is responsible for the organization and coordination of examinations in the model degree course in Human Medicine.

The interprofessional training center of the Faculty of Medicine is a central design feature of the model degree program in human medicine at the University of Augsburg and thus part of the implementation of an innovative, competence-oriented and interdisciplinary curriculum.
