Information on the structure, functions, and goals of the Centre for Climate Resilience can be found in the “About the CCR” section and in the CCR statutes. Information on the tasks, rights, and responsibilities of the members or the general assembly can be found in §4 and §5 of the text of the statutes.
There are two options for becoming a member of the Centre for Climate Resilience:
Any member of the University of Augsburg capable of independent research can become a full member. Full members are entitled to vote at the general assembly.
Any natural person who does not meet the requirements for full membership (including persons who do not belong to the University of Augsburg) and who is willing and able to support the goals of the centre, especially in the area of transfer, science communication, and networking, can become an associated member. Associated members are not entitled to vote at the general assembly but can participate in an advisory capacity.
An overview of the current members of the CCR can be found in the Members section.
Apply for Membership
You can submit an informal application for one of the two above-mentioned forms of membership by e-mail to the management of the CCR ( email@example.com).
The application should be no more than two A4 pages and contain the following information:
- Brief (bullet point) CV showing your interest and/or previous activities related to climate resilience research.
- Outline how you want to contribute to the implementation of the centre's goals.
The general assembly decides on the application with a simple majority and in agreement with the university management.
