Business & Information Systems Engineering

The following qualifications entitle admission into the bachelor’s degree programme in Business & Information Systems Engineering at the University of Augsburg:
 

  • A subject-specific higher education entrance qualification from a public or state recognised private Berufsoberschule (upper secondary vocational school) (BOS 13) or Fachoberschule (upper secondary school) (FOS 13) either from Bavaria or another German state in the fields of Technology and Business.

  • Certificate of having passed an intermediate examination within the meaning of Art. 22 Para. 1 Sentence 1 of the Performance Career Track Act (Leistungslaufbahngesetz) in the context of preparatory service for entry into the third level of qualification in the specialisation Administration and Finance.

Business Mathematics

The following qualifications entitle admission into the bachelor’s degree programme in Business Mathematics at the University of Augsburg:

  • Certificate of having passed the final examination for pedagogical didactics at the Staatsinstitut für die Ausbildung von Fachlehrern (sections I to V) together with a certificate from the Staatsministeriums für Unterricht und Kultus confirming the acquisition of a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification according to § 38 of the study regulations of the Staatsinstitut für die Ausbildung von Fachlehrern (FISO) from the 9th of August 2005 (GVBI p. 436, ber. p. 516) in its respectively applicable edition.
  • Certificate of having passed the final examination at the Staatsinstitut für die Ausbildung von Förderlehrern together with a certificate from the Staatsministeriums für Unterricht und Kultus confirming the acquisition of a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification according to § 24 of the study regulations for the Staatsinstituts für die Ausbildung von Förderlehrern from the 24th of June 2008 in the respectively applicable edition (GVBL p. 399).

  • A subject-specific higher education entrance qualification from a public or state recognised private Berufsoberschule (upper secondary vocational school) (BOS 13) or Fachoberschule (upper secondary school) (FOS 13) either from Bavaria or another German state in the field of Technology.
  • A subject-specific higher education entrance qualification can also be recognised on the basis of having successfully completed examinations and hence acquired ECTS credit points in a not yet completed bachelor’s degree programme. Evidence of the acquisition of ECTS credit points from the first two subject semesters according to the relevant examination regulations of the degree programme (usually 60 ECTS points) must be provided in the form of a certificate of confirmation from the examinations office of the respective university of applied sciences. This only applies to studies completed in Germany. For the degree programme in physics, this relates to the bachelor’s degree programmes Precision and Micro Systems Engineering and Physical Engineering.
  • An entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife) following having passed a state supplementary examination in conjunction with a certificate from a public or state-recognised technical academy (Fachakademie) specialising in Optometry or Medical Engineering with a final grade of “very good” (sehr gut) in each certificate.

Primary and Secondary School Education (Grund- und Mittelschulen)

The following qualifications entitle admission into the degree programmes Primary and Secondary School Education at the University of Augsburg: 

 

  • A subject-specific higher education entrance qualification from a public or state recognised private Berufsoberschule (upper secondary vocational school) (BOS 13) or Fachoberschule (upper secondary school) (FOS 13) either from Bavaria or another German state in the fields of Agriculture, Biological Technology and Environmental Technology, Design, Social Work, Technology, and Business.
  • A subject-specific higher education entrance qualification can also be recognised on the basis of having successfully completed examinations and hence acquired ECTS credit points in a not yet completed bachelor’s degree programme. Evidence of the acquisition of ECTS credit points from the first two subject semesters according to the relevant examination regulations of the degree programme (usually 60 ECTS points) must be provided in the form of a certificate of confirmation from the examinations office of the respective university of applied sciences. This only applies to studies completed in Germany. For the bachelor’s degree programme in primary and secondary school education, this relates to the bachelor’s degree programmes: Early Childhood Education, Music and Movement-Oriented Social Work, Social Work, and Social Work/Services in Schools. In the case of the university of applied sciences degree programme in Religious Education and Ministry, the degree programme in education can be undertaken in a subject combination including religious education. 
  • An entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife) following having passed a state supplementary examination in conjunction with a certificate from a public or state-recognised technical academy (Fachakademie) specialising in Community Pastoral Work, Therapeutic Education, or Social Pedagogy with a final grade of “very good” (sehr gut) in each certificate.
  • Certificate of having passed the final examination for pedagogical didactics at the Staatsinstitut für die Ausbildung von Fachlehrern (sections I to V) together with a certificate from the Staatsministeriums für Unterricht und Kultus confirming the acquisition of a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification according to §38 of the study regulations of the Staatsinstitut für die Ausbildung von Fachlehrern (FISO) from the 9th of August 2005 (GVBI p. 436) in its respectively applicable edition.
  • Certificate of having passed the final examination at the Staatsinstitut für die Ausbildung von Förderlehrern together with a certificate from the Staatsministeriums für Unterricht und Kultus confirming the acquisition of a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification according to §24 of the study regulations for the Staatsinstituts für die Ausbildung von Förderlehrern from the 24th of June 2008 in the respectively applicable edition (GVBL p. 399).

Secondary School Education (Realschulen and Gymnasien) in Mathemathics and Physics

The following qualifications entitle admission into the degree programme Secondary School Education in connection with the subjects mathematics and physics at the University of Augsburg: 
 

  • A subject-specific higher education entrance qualification from a public or state recognised private Berufsoberschule (upper secondary vocational school) (BOS 13) or Fachoberschule (upper secondary school) (FOS 13) either from Bavaria or another German state in the fields of Technology.
  • A subject-specific higher education entrance qualification can also be recognised on the basis of having successfully completed examinations and hence acquired ECTS credit points in a not yet completed bachelor’s degree programme. Evidence of the acquisition of ECTS credit points from the first two subject semesters according to the relevant examination regulations of the degree programme (usually 60 ECTS points) must be provided in the form of a certificate of confirmation from the examinations office of the respective university of applied sciences. This only applies to studies completed in Germany. For the degree programme in secondary school education (Realschule and Gymnasien) in connection with the subjects mathematics and physics, this relates to the bachelor’s degree programme Physical Engineering.

Social Sciences

The following qualifications entitle admission into the bachelor’s degree programme in Social Sciences at the University of Augsburg: 
 

  • A subject-specific higher education entrance qualification from a public or state recognised private Berufsoberschule (upper secondary vocational school) (BOS 13) or Fachoberschule (upper secondary school) (FOS 13) either from Bavaria or another German state in the fields of Social Work, Business and Administration or International Business.
  • A subject-specific higher education entrance qualification can also be recognised on the basis of having successfully completed examinations and hence acquired ECTS credit points in a not yet completed bachelor’s degree programme. Evidence of the acquisition of ECTS credit points from the first two subject semesters according to the relevant examination regulations of the degree programme (usually 60 ECTS points) must be provided in the form of a certificate of confirmation from the examinations office of the respective university of applied sciences. This only applies to studies completed in Germany. For the degree programme in social sciences this relates to the bachelor’s degree programmes: Social Economy, Social Work, Music and Movement-Oriented Social Work, and Social Work/Services in Schools.
  • An entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife) following having successfully passed a state supplementary examination together with a completion certificate from a public or state-recognised technical academy (Fachakademie) in the fields of Community Pastoral Work, Therapeutic Education, Social Pedagogy, or Business with an overall grade of “very good” (sehr gut) in each certificate.

Spanish Language and Literature with Spanish as the main language

The following qualifications entitle admission into the subject Spanish Language and Literature with Spanish as the main language at the University of Augsburg:

 

  • An entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife) following having passed a state supplementary examination in conjunction with a certificate from a public or state-recognised technical academy (Fachakademie) specialising in translating and interpreting (formally foreign language professions) with a final grade of “very good” (sehr gut) in each certificate.
