On October 14, Professor Möllers gave his lecture "Modern Legal Methods - why we need them" at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Common Goods in Bonn. He talked about the importance of legal methods for solving current problems. The audience included numerous graduate students from Bonn and other cities from the fields of law, economics and social sciences. Professor Möllers had an intensive discussion with MPI Directors Engel and Hellwig and the graduate students about the role of empiricism and economics in the meaning of law. The director of the MPI Institute, Professor Dr. Dr. h.c.. Christoph Engel, is, among other roles, a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and a member of Academia Europaea. His research and publication focus is the interdisciplinary study of legal issues, especially with regard to common goods.
