Curriculum Vitae
Katharine Wirsching is an assistant professor at the chair of management and organization at the University of Augsburg. In 2015, she received her doctoral degree from Augsburg University for her dissertation entitled “Family Firms and Corporate Performance”.
Between 2004 and 2009, she studied economics with a focus on management and organization, information and international management at the University of Augsburg. She also spent one semester at the Udayana University Denpasar / Indonesia. She started working at the chair of Prof. Dr. Erik E. Lehmann in March 2005 as a student assistant and as a research assistant as of 2009.
In the context of her research she focuses on corporate governance and innovation in family firms, female and immigrant entrepreneurship, and public policy.
