Christoph Salzmann graduated from Augsburg University with a Magister Artium in Cultural Anthropology, Ancient History and Art History after having spent a year at the University of Siena. As a member of the Chair of Europäische Ethnologie/Volkskunde at Augsburg University he has recently finished his PhD. His research and teaching efforts are focused on museology, urban studies, culture of remembrance and cultural heritage. Therefore, his research has led him to spend some time abroad, specifically the Italian city of Genoa. Currently he's teaching at the Bauhaus University in Weimar as well as working for the Career Service at Augsburg University. Since January 2023 Christoph Salzmann is part of the team of the ImpACTup! project.
