Bio
Tobias Lutzi is Junior Professor for Private Law (Tenure Track) and postdoctoral researcher (Habilitand) at the Institute For Private International and Comparative Law at the University of Cologne. He is chair of the Young Research Network and member of the Scientific Council of the European Association of Private International Law (EAPIL), member of the Young Academy of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities, member of the Advisory Board of the Journal Juristischen Schulung (JuS) and co-editor of the blog conflictoflaws.net.
His research is focused on private international law, including international civil procedure, the CISG, German private law, including the problems raised by digital technology, and comparative private law.
