(...) This comparative law lecture was organised by the Research Center of Innovation and Legal Studies between China and Europe (RICE) and the ACELR. The Research Center RICE is directed by Prof. Dr. Thomas M.J. Möllers and represents a link between German, European and Chinese law and practice. Especially because of the increasing importance of the relations between the EU and China, a legal exchange is indispensable. Prof. Dr. Wang not only analysed the special features of tort law from a Chinese perspective, but also pointed out similarities to German law in a comparative legal analysis. After the lecture, the audience, consisting of students and faculty members, discussed German and Chinese tort law.
