Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Seitz is Assistant Professor at the chair of Management and Organization at the faculty of business and economics. Since December 2016 he has been also appointed as Co-Managing Director of the new-founded Augsburg Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE) at the University of Augsburg. 

 

His teaching areas are in the field of Strategy and Management Studies. His research  intersects the fields of corporate innovation and entrepreneurship with a special interest in the role of culture and creative ecosystems and their key determinants. His recent publications focus on the impact of urban cultural scences and how places´attractiveness shape startup hotspots. 

Nikolaus Seitz studied Business Administration at the University of Augsburg. Core themes of his studies were in the field of General Management & Organizations Studies as well as in Strategic Management and Innovation Management.

 

Besides his studies, he gained professional experience as a consultant, in hightech startups and as an exectuive assistant in the construction industry. He was also employed as a Teaching Student and Research Assistant both at the chair of Management and Organization (Prof. Dr. Lehmann) and the chair for Economics (Prof. Dr. Welzel), University of Augsburg.
