The following certificates are recognised as evidence of German language skills at C2 level at the University of Augsburg:

• Completion of the Abitur at a school with German as the language of instruction. If you possess a German higher education entrance qualification, you can apply as a “Bildungsinländer.”
• Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber*innen, DSH - Level 3 (German language test for the admission of foreign applicants to universities)
• TestDaF (Test: German as a foreign language) – Level 5 in all four parts of the examination
• Goethe certificate C2: Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom (GDS)
• telc certificate in German C2
• Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch (ÖSD), certificate C2
• UNIcert, level IV
