Restricted admission (with NC) higher semester

With restricted admission degree programmes, you must apply directly for the desired subject semester, as all subject semesters are subject to admission restrictions. Please note that admission to the winter and summer semesters is only possible for different subject semesters.

You must apply for admission to a higher subject semester by 15.07. (winter semester) or 15.01. (summer semester) at the latest. This means that your admission request (Antrag auf Zulassung), which you can print out after applying online, must be received by us in writing by this date. The date on the postmark is not sufficient.

In order to have previous study credits reviewed, please submit an overview of your previous studies. This must be submitted by 30.09. (winter semester) or 31.03. (summer semester) at the latest.

The allocation of study places for higher semesters is only possible if admission numbers have not been exceeded in the semester in question and in the degree programme as a whole.

If there are study places available, admission is possible if evidence of the required number of credit points is provided, according to enrolment regulations.

Important: Due to this process, admission may only be granted shortly before the start of the lecture period.
