French Language and Literature (Two-subject Bachelor) (B.A.)
The programme deals with the core topics of linguistics, literature and cultural studies in relation to French-speaking countries. In addition to subject-specific knowledge, students also acquire skills in text analysis and interpretation, independent academic work and further develop their own language skills. In addition to these focus areas of the major subject, students also select a minor subject. Together with further modules in the free area, students can thus take into account their individual fields of interest and prepare for later activities.

The introductory modules in language practice for students of the Franco-Romance subjects require language skills in French on the level B2 (CEFR). All students are therefore strongly advised to participate in the qualification test for French (subjects of French language and literature).
