Moritz T. Bruckner is a research and teaching assistant at the Chair of Information Systems and Management since 2019.

Moritz Bruckner completed his Master's degree in "Information-Oriented Business Studies" (M.Sc.) at the University of Augsburg. He chose "Strategy and Information" as his major. In his master thesis entitled "The Potential of Persuasion in Social Media", he investigated the influence of persuasion techniques on investment behavior in the context of online investments.

Prior to his Master studies, Moritz Bruckner completed a degree (BA hons - first class) in "International Business" at the European Business School/Regent's University in London. As part of his studies, he spent one year abroad at the Ca'Foscari University in Venice, Italy.

Prior to that, he completed various internships alongside his Bachelor's degree, in the areas of tax consultancy as well as auditing for Sonntag & Partner and in the automotive industry for the BMW AG.

From August 2018 on, Moritz Bruckner worked as a student assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Daniel Veit. Since February 2019, he has been a research and teaching assistant.

In his research, Moritz Bruckner focuses on the area of behavioral science in the context of disruptive technologies. Specifically, Moritz Bruckner conducts research on the disintermediation of digital financial systems and the accompanying, systematic persuasion and deception of investors. Furthermore, his research deals with implications and applications of algorithmically automated heuristics (Artificial Intelligence).

Moritz Bruckner is a member of the following professional associations: Association for Information Systems (AIS), Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (GI) and Institute for Digitization Research (idr).
