Cornelia Schneider is Head of the Coordination Group for NCPs at the EU Bureau of the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR). The EU Bureau at the DLR Project Management Agency supports the BMFTR on European research and innovation policy, particularly Horizon Europe and related programs. The EU-Bureau coordinates the Network of National Contact Points (NCPs), operates a Front Office and hosts several German NCPs, which provide free, confidential guidance to applicants and participants. Since 2017, Schneider has coordinated Germany’s NCP network for Horizon Europe and serves as an expert in the “Strategic Configuration” program committee. With over 15 years of experience in European Framework Programmes, she advises researchers and institutions across Germany on EU funding opportunities and supports the national implementation of Horizon Europe.
