Taking the Bull by the Horns. Humanities and Social Science Perspectives on the Idea of Europe

In today’s world research in the humanities and sciences has become more international than ever before. International, intercultural and interdisciplinary cooperation is becoming increasingly important for young researchers and seems to be the only way to respond to the multiple crises of our time ‒ in Europe and beyond. In view of these challenges, the humanities and social sciences are finding themselves in a central role, with researchers facing new tasks. Giving young researchers the opportunity for a transdisciplinary exchange, the conference aims to provide a forum for the joint development of ideas and concepts on what the specific role of the humanities and social sciences can be in this context.
