Drawing from extensive experience in medical training, the session will highlight how simulation enhances clinical decision-making, teamwork, and crisis resource management. It will also present practical insights from working as a Trainer of Trainers in simulation within humanitarian contexts, including the development and delivery of “how to react” simulations in resource-limited and high-pressure environments with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Finally, the talk will connect training to real-world application through first-hand experience as a volunteer physician during the DANA floods in Valencia, reflecting on how simulation training translates into effective response in complex emergencies.
