Last year in September the French and the German Ceramic Matrix Composites communities (CMC² and Arbeitskreis Verstärkung keramischer Werkstoffe) met for a scientific exchange. On 16th and 17th of January 2020 we had the succeeding meeting at University of Augsburg in Germany. Hosts were the Composites United (CU e.V.) and the Institute of Materials Resource Management MRM of University of Augsburg, organized was the meeting by Gerard Vignoles and Dietmar Koch. Chair of the days was Denny Schüppel from CU e.V. who did an excellent job.

We had a very living meeting with fruitful discussions and we decided to meet again in second half of 2020. In the evening we had a very nice get together and enjoyed local food and excellent beer in “Wirtshaus Riegele” in Augsburg.
