Online Workshop: Scholarship Application for PhD Funding in Germany (15 and 16 January 2024)
Are you a master student thinking about a PhD or a PhD candidate in your first year, looking for PhD funding? Then this workshop about German scholarships and the application requirements and processes will be useful for you! A German scholarship is an attractive way for (aspiring) PhD candidates to fund their degree. The advantages of a scholarship can include: belonging to a prestigious organization, networking, having international research paid for, exclusive events and seminars, and more freedom due to financial independence from your supervisor. Nonetheless, knowing if a scholarship is right for you can be daunting. Deciding where to apply, knowing how much time and effort to invest, or mastering all application documents can prove challenging. 3) and go over what the application process entails.
In this workshop, we aim to
1) give you a general idea of which German scholarship institutions exist;
2) aide you in deciding which ones suit you best;
