Prof. Dr. Simone M. Müller ist Finalistin bei dem Fleck Prize 2025

Prof. Dr. Simone Müller schafft es mit ihrem Buch "The Toxic Ship: The Voyage of Khian Sea and the Global Waste Trade" in das Finale des Fleck Prize 2025.

Mit dem 1992 erstmals verliehenen Fleck-Preis wird ein herausragendes Buch im Bereich der Wissenschafts- und Technologiestudien gewürdigt. Für den Preis 2025 prüfte der Ausschuss mehr als 45 Bücher und bewertete die nominierten Bücher nach ihrem Beitrag zum Bereich der Wissenschafts- und Technologiestudien, ihrer Neuheit und ihrer allgemeinen wissenschaftlichen Qualität.

Prof. Dr. Simone Müller makes it to the final of the Fleck Prize 2025 with her book “The Toxic Ship: The Voyage of Khian Sea and the Global Waste Trade”.
The Fleck Prize, first awarded in 1992, recognizes an outstanding book in the area of Science and Technology Studies. For the 2025 prize, the Committee reviewed more than 45 books and evaluated nominated books on their contributions to the field of Science and Technology Studies, their novelty, and their overall scholarly quality.
