Die vierte Runde der "Green Hour" wird von Prof. Dr. Sule Emmanuel Egya, Professor für afrikanische Literatur- und Kulturstudien an der Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida Universität in Lapai, Nigeria, moderiert. Zu den Forschungsinteressen von Professor Egya gehören Literatur und Politik, Literatur und Umwelt sowie Kulturwissenschaften. In jüngster Zeit hat er über Begriffe wie Umweltgerechtigkeit und Umweltaktivismus, Beziehungen zwischen Mensch und Nicht-Mensch und die dekoloniale Kraft der afrikanischen Natur geschrieben.
In der Grünen Stunde wird er fünf kurze Gedichte aus seiner neuen Sammlung vorstellen, die noch in Arbeit ist. Es sind Gedichte über Natur, Körperlichkeit und darüber, wie Krankheit die menschlichen Grenzen im Kontext eines postkolonialen Staates aufzeigt.

The fourth round of the “Green Hour” will be presented by Prof. Dr. Sule Emmanuel Egya, Professor of African literature and cultural studies at Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Nigeria. Professor Egya’s research interests include literature and politics, literature and environment, and cultural studies. He has, in recent times, written on notions of environmental justice and activism, human-nonhuman relations, and the decolonial force of African natures.
In the Green Hour he will present five short poems from his new collection which is still work in progress. They are poems about nature, corporeality, and how illness exposes human limitations in the context of a postcolonial state.
