Mentoring: Writing Clinic for English and American Studies (hosted by a tutor)
Your first term paper is waiting around the corner? How do you find a topic and who will help you if you are stuck during your writing process? The Writing Clinic offers students guidance regarding academic writing as well as individual consultations. Introductory Sessions on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 as well as on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in room D-2106 from 3:45 to 5:15 pm.

Information on application / enrollment
You are interested in studying English at the University of Augsburg and in need of information on how to apply online at our university, enrollment, or the mandatory assessment procedure (EFV)? Just follow the link for details on the application process and important deadlines regarding the EFV.
HOW TO APPLY?
1) Apply online at the University of Augsburg if you are not already enrolled.
2) Registration for the EFV:
- First-year students are to use the applicant number from your online application.
- Students already enrolled at the University of Augsburg are to use their matriculation number as applicant number.
- Please upload a legible copy of your complete Abitur certificate in PDF format.
- Please note: The EFV is a procedure that can be completed and passed in several ways (by taking the test, by the Abitur average in English, or by using an alternative language qualification; see link below). However, prior registration for the procedure is necessary in any case!
- EFV for the start of the winter semester 2025/26: Deadline for registration for the EFV is July 15, 2025, midnight.
