Bianca Jansky hat Soziologie, Politikwissenschaften, Philosophie und Global Studies an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, München und der Roskilde Universität studiert. Während ihres Studiums war sie als Wissenschaftliche Studentische Hilfskraft am Lehrbereich Qualitative Methoden der empirischen Sozialforschung, Institut für Soziologie, LMU, tätig. Von 2018 bis 2020 war sie als Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Ethik, Geschichte und Theorie der Medizin, LMU im BMBF geförderten Forschungsprojekt: META "mHealth: Ethical, Legal, Social aspects in the technological age" beschäftigt. Seit Dezember 2020 ist sie Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Insitut für Ethik und Geschichte der Gesundheit in der Gesellschaft, Universität Augsburg im META Projekt. 2023 schloss sie ihre Dissertation unter der Betreuung von Paula-Irene Villa Braslavsky (LMU) und Henriette Langstrup (Universität Kopenhagen) ab mit einer Ethnographie zu Patient*innen Aktivismus im Typ 1 Diabetes.
